About Diane Randall

Needing an outlet in which to channel her creative energy, following the completion of twelve years of work as an art director for a quilt magazine, founder of Silver Creek Samplers, Diane Randall, discovered that designing her own cross stitch patterns came naturally. Cross stitch was an art form Diane had initially undertaken as a hobby a few years before learning to quilt. After three years of creating her own patterns, in 2009 she made the decision to contact a distributor, who immediately accepted her patterns, and to the delight of many, Diane hasn’t looked back since. She describes her original counted cross stitch designs as fun & folksical (a blend of folksy and whimsical).

Silver Creek Samplers is based in Montrose, PA, the seat of Susquehanna County and part of what’s known as The Endless Mountains Region of Pennsylvania. Designer, Diane Randall's roots run deep in the Montrose community. Born and raised in the area, and living near Salt Springs State Park, she often finds inspiration among the three beautiful waterfalls and acres upon acres of hemlock forest. Diane’s personal faith and spirituality often significantly influence her designs.

She is the proud parent of an adult son, who serves the community as emergency service personnel. In August of 2022, Diane married, "Mr. Silver Creek Samplers," Clinton Randall. She also enjoys caring for her chickens, her beagle rescue, Charlotte, exploring yard sales, attending auctions, and antiquing.
